Oscar Predictions and Hopes + Funny Movie

Here's how this will work... I'm going to BOLD each movie I think will win, and ITALICIZE each movie I want to win. Some may be both bolded and italicized. In some categories I may italicize a few picks that I would love to see win. Some categories I have no clue on so I'm blindly guessing... like a lot of the later ones. In the end, most critics are saying it is a race between The Hurt Locker and Avatar in almost every category they are nominated for, but especially best picture. I for one do not think The Hurt Locker was an amazing movie, and even though Avatar was fun and made a lot of money, it wasn't the best movie made this year. I hope the race is so tight between them that another movie is able to sneak in and beat them both. Especially for Best Picture. Only thing I really want Avatar to win is visual effects, because they were honestly the best visual effects in any movie ever. Ever. Period.
